TAGLIA are glass spacers for FED and other vacuum flat glass assemblies.
Our spacers are either pillar type or rib type, and they come up in a wide variety of shapes (cross, rectangular,
cylindrical), dimensions and glass compositions.
Our unique patented process allows us very tight dimensional controls in the 3 directions, precise angle tuning and fire polished surfaces with mirror quality. Thus, electrical arcing effects can be dramatically reduced.
Spacer wall thickness can be as low as 30 µm, meaning that solutions can be proposed to FED users, whatever their black matrix design.
2 glass compositions that fully match the expansion coefficient of our high strain point glass substrate (CS77) are available : CS77 itself and a new semi-conductive glass developed for better control of charging effects (TAGLIA+).

APPLICATIONS

TAGLIA spacers can be used in Field Emission Displays, either as pillars or ribs. They are also suitable for other flat glass assemblies, such as flat lamps.
